From a tiny Khulshi kitchen to Chattogram's most talked-about home bakery — one whisk at a time.
It started with a stubborn craving.
There's a particular kind of frustration that comes from wanting a proper dark chocolate cake at 10 PM in Chattogram — and finding nothing. Not one bakery open. Not one delivery available. Just crickets and a rumbling stomach.
That night, I pulled out a bowl, some Belgian cocoa I'd smuggled back from a trip, and started experimenting. The result was lopsided, messy, and absolutely delicious. Friends tried it. Friends demanded more. Soon I was spending every weekend testing ratios — more butter? Less sugar? Bake lower, slower? The kitchen looked like a chocolate bomb had gone off, but the cakes kept getting better.
Somewhere between the sixth failed caramel and the first perfect cheesecake, I realised this wasn't just a hobby anymore. Dessertecia was born — named after the Spanish word postre (dessert) because everything sounds better with a little romance.

Local dairy, farm eggs, and real butter. No shortcuts, no premixes, no substitutes. If an ingredient isn't good enough to eat raw, it doesn't go in the bowl.
