Refund & Return Policy

1. Perishable Nature

All Dessertecia products are handmade, perishable, and prepared fresh to order. For hygiene and quality reasons, we cannot accept returns or offer refunds once an order has been dispatched.

2. Order Cancellation

You may cancel your order before midnight at 11:59 PM (on the day of placing the order). After midnight, we start to process your order and preparation begins. Cancellations then are not possible as ingredients have already been allocated and work has started.

To cancel, contact us on WhatsApp with your order tracking ID.

If, for some inexplicable reasons, we are not reachable through WhatsApp - you are requested to call us directly to discuss cancellation at any hour of the day.

3. Quality Issues on Delivery

If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or unsatisfactory, please:

• Take a photo/video of the issue while our delivery representative is present
• Message us on WhatsApp with your tracking ID and evidence
• We will review and offer a replacement on your next order or a partial/full refund

Replacement or refund decisions are made solely at our discretion, based on the evidence provided.

4. Wrong Address

If you provided an incorrect delivery address, we are not responsible for the failed delivery - and full payment still has to be made to us - regardless of your recieving the order or not. Please double-check your address before placing the order. Contact us immediately on WhatsApp if you spot an error.

5. Late Deliveries

We strive to deliver within the promised window. Traffic, weather, and unforeseen circumstances may cause delays. We do not offer refunds for minor delays (upto 3 hours of our speculative delivery time) but will prioritise your order if the delay is significant.

6. Refund Method

Approved refunds will be issued via the same payment method used (bKash, Nagad, Rocket, or cash on next delivery). Refund cannot be processed to a different entity/medium than that of what was used in placing the order. Processing time: 3–5 business days.
